Vodacom Group

Vodacom today announced that two people will be leaving its executive team.  Bob Collymore, currently Chief Officer: Corporate Affairs has been appointed as the CEO of Safaricom, Kenya's leading mobile operator.  Bob will be joining Safaricom, which has Vodafone as a major shareholder, as of September.  Portia Maurice has been appointed as acting Chief Officer: Corporate Affairs.

Also leaving Vodacom will be Willem Swart, Chief Officer: International Business, who has tendered his resignation.
