Poverty alleviation efforts in South Africa received another boost when the Robin Good Initiative (RGI) today received the keys to two brand new Nissan Cabstars that will assist with transporting food and vegitunnels to areas affected by poverty in South Africa. The vehicles have been funded by the Vodacom Foundation.

A partnership between Vodacom and the Eastern Cape Department of Education came to fruition today amid huge festivity when the Zithulele Primary School near Mthatha was formally handed over to the community. The ceremony marked the final transformation of the former mud structure to a modern and fully-equipped educational institution of learning.

Vodacom enables SANBS to reach blood donors in Limpopo

The last of the state-of-the-art mobile blood collection clinics, donated by the Vodacom Foundation, was handed over today to the South African National Blood Service (SANBS). The clinic will enable the SANBS to extend its services to remote areas in Limpopo that it was previously not been able to access.
