Since 2004, Vodafone has co-funded a policy paper series on the socio-economic impact of mobile (SIM). The series is aimed at providing a systematic analysis of the impact of mobile connections in key areas. The findings of the research can be used to assist policymakers in providing a regulatory environment that stimulates growth and economic development.
The opinions expressed are not ours but those of independent experts whose views we respect and contribute to our thoughts and engagements with policy makers to secure an environment that allows the real impact of mobile technologies to be unleashed and deliver the associated socio-economic benefits.
