Part of a Vodafone world-wide initiative, Vodacom Red Alert enables you to donate money to a natural disaster relief effort directly from your cellphones using an SMS or USSD number. All charges associated with a Vodacom Red Alert campaign are waived by Vodacom, meaning that 100 percent of all funds raised are passed over to the participating disaster relief organization.
