Apply for Funding

The Vodacom Foundation has adopted three project categories for funding applications, which cut across the disciplines of Education, Health and Security.  The three categories take into account the following principles: 

• provision of solutions to problems, rather than how much money is requested
• as an ICT company, solutions are to take the form of the use of Information Communication Technologies to help solve social problems

To this end, applications for monetary contributions for assistance will need to be made in terms of the two categories and relevant qualifyng criteria listed below:-

• Social Investment Projects:
• Third party driven
• 1-3 year involvement
• Monetary contributions in excess of R100 000
• Apply before end of September of each year

• Grants and Donations:
• Towards social relief and emergencies
• Monetary contributions not exceeding R100 000

Evaluation of Applications
Once your application has been received, Vodacom Foundation will send an acknowledgement via email or post. The closing date for applications is end September of each year, for the following year’s funding.
